The actor was at his best during the opening ceremony of 'Bigg Boss 9'. After welcoming the audience, he invited the contestants on stage and asked them to choose for a partner for themselves from the two options given.
Actress Rimi Sen, who has been seen in movies like 'Golmaal', 'Dhoom', 'Hungama' and more delivered a stunning performance. The 34-year-old Bengali beauty, who was last seen in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s “Shagird” in 2011, said she has not bid adieu to acting. “I am venturing into direction next year so I am using ‘Bigg Boss’ as my base to connect with my fans again. I have been very choosy about my roles, so my fans have seen me in a handful of films in my 12-year Bollywood career,” Rimi told PTI before entering the house.
'Bigg Boss 9', the most anticipated reality TV show of the year, has finally kick started and host Salman Khan has come up with "double trouble" this year. During 'Bigg Boss 9' (Bigg Boss Nau) contestants will be made to move, talk and walk in pairs. Salman Khan, who is prepping up for the role of a wrestler in Sultan, entered the stage crooning his song 'Main Hoon Hero Tera' and later performed with Elli Avram and 'Jai Ho' co-actor Daisy Shah.
He also invited the contestants on stage, who were then asked to choose a partner for themselves from the two options given to them.
In the next few slides, we also introduce you to the 14 contestants on the Bigg Boss 9 show.
Daisy Shah, who played the love interest of Salman Khan in 'Jai Ho', danced with the actor in the first episode of the show.
Salman Khan also shook a leg with Elli Avram, who was a part of 'Bigg Boss' season 7. Elli, who is a regular at Salman Khan's parties, was recently seen in 'Kis Kisko Pyar Karoon.
Rimi was asked to choose a partner for herself from among Splitsvilla winner Prince Narula and TV actor Suyyash Rai, and the actress chose latter.
TV actors Roopal Tyagi of 'Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke' fame and Digangana Suryavanshi of 'Ek Veer ki Ardaas...Veera' are partners on the show.
Iranian model and actress Mandana Karimi chose actor Keith Sequeria over Ankit Gera.
Mandana Karimi, who made her Bollywood debut with 'Bhaag Johnny' this year, said she is not looking for a career push through the reality show.
Ankit Gera, whose ex-girlfriend Roopal Tyagi is also a part of the house, was partnered with singer Arvind Vegda.
Actress Yuvika Chaudhary, who has been seen in movies like 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Naughty @ 40' chose actor Vikas Bhalla over Prince Narula. Yuvika, who is among the 14 people participating in the ninth season of “Bigg Boss”, said she is a very homely girl and saying yes to the show was very difficult. “I am a very homely girl. It is a big decision for me to say yes to ‘Bigg Boss’. But I think it will be a good experience. It is going to be a challenge. Let us see what happens,” said Yuvika.
